We promote well-being and opportunity to connect with nature. Woodland Women aims to foster a community that is interested in empowering women and girls, whilst maintaining our wonderful woodlands. Our intent is to through nature-based programs we will improve health and well being ,build resilience, foster networks, and develop practical skills

The focus at Woodland Women & Wellbeing revolves around three main areas. These are woodland, women, and wellbeing.

Our Vision
We envision a vibrant woodland hub where women and girls come together to learn, connect, and recharge. From forest school sessions to skill-building workshops, our programs foster social capital and resilience. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce overnight wild camping training by 2030, deepening participants’ connection to nature.
Our Alignment
Our work supports key regional goals:
- Northamptonshire ICB’s “Live Your Best Life” Strategy: Enhancing mental health, physical activity, and community co-production.
- Sport England’s Active Lives Survey: Addressing rural inactivity, particularly among women and lower-income groups.
- Northamptonshire Sport: Promoting active lifestyles through inclusive, low-impact activities.


Our Commitment
We are committed to sustainable woodland management, promoting wellbeing, and providing opportunities for women. and girls. By partnering with West Northamptonshire Council, local schools, and organizations like Northamptonshire Sport, we ensure our programs meet community needs and deliver measurable impact.
